Vagabond Clip Rings

A set of four clip rings are attached to all our sit-on-tops. The clip rings are made of die-forged, anodised-aluminium alloy.

These sturdy clip rings are used to attach thigh straps to the sides of the cockpit. Thigh straps provide support to connect you to the deck when paddling through rapids and in ocean surf. In these environments, waves could wash you off the deck.

We designed our sculpted seats and lower footwells in such a way that a backrest is not actually needed for our kayaks. But, if you really want to use one, the two clip rings that are fitted on the sides of the seat can also be used to attach a backrest.
